The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data, unless otherwise stated below, possibly due to settings you make (see below regarding cookies). Knowledge and processing of your personal data are required for contract processing. If additional personal data such as name, address, or email address are requested, the provision of such information is voluntary, and we do not have a legal claim to it. Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties unless you have expressly consented or disclosure is necessary for the processing of a contractual relationship, such as shipping goods where data is transferred to the shipping company.

Server Log
Files Like every connection to a web server, the server of our web hosting provider, cyon in Basel, Switzerland, logs and stores certain technical data. This data includes the IP address and operating system of your device, the access time, the type of browser, and the browser request including the referrer. This is necessary for technical reasons to provide you with our website. Cyon protects this data against unauthorized access with technical and organizational measures and does not disclose it to third parties. To the extent that we process personal data in this context, we do so based on our interest in providing you with the best possible user experience and ensuring the security and stability of our systems.
Contact Form
When contacting us (e.g., via contact form, email, telephone, or social media), the user's information is processed for the purpose of handling the contact request and its processing in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The user's information may be stored in a customer relationship management system ("CRM system") or a comparable inquiry organization.
We delete the inquiries if they are no longer necessary. We review the necessity every two years; in addition, statutory retention obligations apply.
Google Analytics
Based on our legitimate interests (i.e., interest in analyzing, optimizing, and operating our online offering within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR), we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC ("Google"). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online offering by users is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Google is certified under the Privacy Shield agreement and thereby offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).
Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our online offering by users, to compile reports on activities within this online offering, and to provide us with further services associated with the use of this online offering and the internet. Pseudonymous user profiles can be created from the processed data.
We only use Google Analytics with IP anonymization enabled. This means that the IP address of users is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
The IP address transmitted by the user's browser will not be merged with other Google data. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly; users can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to their use of the online offering by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

The personal data of users will be deleted or anonymized after 14 months.
Google Analytics has been implemented through Google Tag Manager. Google Tag Manager is a Google service that allows website tags to be managed. The tool itself does not process any personal data.
